Living Wall Prezi

I recently experimented with the innovative presentation tool called Prezi.  This is an amazing way to visualize presentations, get the bigger picture, and allow for a less linear look.  This is a presentation I made last week outlining the basics about living walls

  1. Nice presentation tool and topic. A few years ago, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation installed a 3 story biowall in their office building in Morristown, NJ which looks really nice and makes a great indoor work environment.

    • I appreciate your comments! I’m thinking about putting up a small living wall panel or two in my home for indoor air quality. I might even be able to grow a few edibles and herbs in it.

  2. Looks great! Is that your company or something you support? I started a green company in phoenix to pursue these ideas, I am still working on the infrastructure of the company however this is great inspiration and well presented- I might want to share this at some point, how would you feel about that?

    • Thanks! Currently, I’m an apprentice at that company. I researched living retaining walls in grad school, so I love green infrastructure. This seemed like a great opportunity for education. Feel free to share it!

    • Also, I’m sure phoenix has lots of opportunity for green infrastructure. One idea: solar panels on green roofs. Panels benefit the plants with occasional shade, plants provide evapotranspirational cooling that boosts panel efficiency.
